Squadron's 'A Night With' series has provided Malta's clubbers with more heavyweight artists, ensuring the best quality clubbing experiences they have come to expect from the Squadron camp. But something was missing. In 2010 Squadron will be literally exploding and back flipping into the new decade with the return of the most anticipated and talked about event around. Get ready for Squadron Festival 2010!

Both previous historical editions in 2007 & 2008, have established Squadron Festival as a creative monster in the Maltese clubbing scene, attracting enormous crowds to see such legendary acts as Juan Atkins, DJ Rolando, Dr.Lektroluv, Bangkok Impact, Marshall Jefferson, Legowelt & Spacid.

Squadron Festival 2010 will be even better than ever, with a new mouthwatering collaboration between Squadron and DonDisko, we'll be delivering the very best in Nu-Rave, Fidget House, Electro, Techno and House music. But that's not all, add to that an incredible production experience of creative visuals, light system and décor.

Squadron being the originators and leading electro music event organisation in Malta, has played a most important role in the ever increasing popularity of the so called ‘electro’ sound. Having been involved in the music scene since 2002, Squadron events are now definitely the biggest and most respected in this scene. Squadron events have successfully managed to breed a new era of freaks who were not interested in dancing to the music which had dominated the scene for the past years. Squadron provided the means for these people to listen to all sorts of genres jammed into one night, ranging from true Electro and Chicago house music from its purest days, to the better days of Detroit-techno, mixed in with the less sinister Italo-Disco sounds of the early 80’s.

Besides bringing innovation in music locally, Squadron has also managed to fashion their very own unmistakable Squadron brand artwork, a fusion between classic chic art-deco and modern vector illustrations. Since their first ever event back in April 2003, Squadron flyers have been sought after gems for flyer enthusiasts around the island.

Following the first edition's success, which attracted over 2,500 partygoers with Marshall Jefferson, Dr.Lektroluv and Spacid, the second edition in 2008 once again presented an even bigger and stronger line-up. No less than 4 International heavyweight artists featured in this edition, and that being none other than the legendary man behind the all-time classic track 'Knights of the Jaguar' DJ Rolando, the true Godfather of Techno Juan Atkins (Model 500) and Bunker Records' finest Legowelt and Bangkok Impact.

Following a very successful 2009 which saw the likes of D.I.M, Les Petits Pilous, Spacid and One Man Party (Soulwax) shaking the Squadron & DonDisko dance-floors, Squadron Festival returns on the 10th of July 2010, promising yet again one of the biggest line-ups ever to hit Malta!
